Many folks inside the offices of The Hollywood Reporter on the Miracle Mile evacuated this morning after authorities received a suspicious package report.

Photos of the location show office workers outside the building, at 5700 Wilshire Boulevard. The LAPD tells us its hazardous materials team is at the location now conducting an investigation; the L.A. Fire Department says the situation is mostly over.

The offices at the address also house other Hollywood industry companies.

The L.A. Fire Department mostly cleared the scene this morning, spokesman Erik Scott told us. He called the incident a “chemical investigation” and confirmed an LAFD hazmat squad responded to the call.

He said that, considering the small number of firefighters sent to the scene, about 10, it didn't appear to be a big deal.

[Added at 11:42 a.m.]: The Hollywood Reporter says staffers have returned to work after investigators determined “substance was non-threatening.”
