If you've not yet cleared out your dance card for Sunday, March 6th, bought your tickets to the 2011 Gold Standard, and set the date for your fast, you are herewith reminded. This year's happy event, the third annual Gold Standard, will take place on Sunday March 6th, from 1-5 p.m., at the Petersen. (Why we're going to be blissfully stuffing ourselves again in an automotive museum, of all places, I've no idea.)

Yesterday the people who live upstairs — literally, not metaphorically — finalized the list of restaurants coming to this year's event. Requisite drumroll. Yes, there will be trucks. Yes, Ludo will be there. And no, Maison Giraud (chef Alain Giraud's much anticipated but still quite invisible restaurant) is not open yet.
