Marc Maron busts out of his Highland Park garage to bring his burning-hot, twitter-trending comedy podcast to an actual, physical stage in front of real live people tonight. Once a month he ventures out of “the Park” for live sets where he shoots the shit with the likes of Amy Sedaris, Todd Hanson (The Onion), Dane Cook, and Louis C.K. For those who don't already feed on Maron's digital talk-show-meets-stand-up confection, this two-year-old podcast grabs a whopping 200,000 listeners per week. Maron's live WTF events have consisted of stand-up, guest interviews and readings of fans — oftentimes revealing, pathetic emails. Sure Maron's a self-promotional juggernaut (You maybe even caught WTF at this year's FYF fest when Maron went off on a glorious rant about hairy hipster bros with mutton chops, handle bar mustaches and “gay jeans shorts”) but along with his sardonic, passive-aggressive shtick he also brings a supportive, nurturing attitude to funny folks in all stages of their careers. Tonight Maron hosts the brilliantly sick Jonah Ray, old head Eddie Pepitone, newbie Moronzio Vance and hillbilly-punk-rock-slop slinger Mojo Nixon, to name a few. Get your tickets early and often. Steve Allen Theater, 4773 Hollywood Blvd., Hlywd.; Tues. Oct. 25, 8 p.m., $10. (800) 595-4849.
