Just when you were debating what to do with that Hoodie-Footie you got for Christmas (and I hope my mother-in-law's not reading this!) comes Regifted! Todd Fasen is the comic mind behind this brilliant concept: “Every holiday season, people are given tons of crappy gifts they don't want, like ugly sweaters, a TV/VCR combo or an arts & crafts project your sister made because she's too cheap to buy you anything. Instead of having those gifts end up in the trash, we want people to bring them down to Upright Citizens Brigade so we can use your shitty gifts as inspiration for fantastic comedy.” Some of UCB's top improvisers will help you unload your unwanted gift and maybe end up with someone else's nightmare! Says Fasen, who's been doing Regifted for several years, “The highlight for me last year was seeing what weird gifts people want to regift. From terrible DVDs no one would want to watch to autobiographies of Bo Jackson, it's always delightful to see what gifts people receive from their cheap and lazy friends and relatives.” With Fasen, Stephanie Allyne, John Ross-Bowie, Kate Spencer, Katie Dippold. Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, 5919 Franklin Ave., Hlywd.; Tues., Dec. 27, 9:30 p.m.; $5. (323) 908-8702.
