Coming on the heels of the wild success of the Doritos Tacos Locos, it seems that Taco Bell has decided to just let the stoners completely take over the menu development side of their business, because Brand Eating is reporting that Taco Bell is testing a taco made from a waffle. And — lucky us — it appears that the one place this abomination is available is within driving distance.

Foodbeast tracked down a store in Santa Ana, CA, advertising the waffle taco, and it seems that Orange County is the only place in the country right now where the waffle taco is being tested.

The waffle taco contains egg and sausage and is available during breakfast hours (7-11 a.m.). Right now they cost $0.89.

Calls to Taco Bell's corporate office were not returned at the time of this post. Calls to the Santa Ana Taco Bell in question were — well, we're not sure. It seemed like they were picking up the phone and then hanging up immediately? We'll keep you posted as we hear more about this breakfast atrocity.
