Break out your Dalek costumes and mod Tardis dresses, because there's a three-day salute to Dr. Who this weekend at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport. Whether you're a long time Whovian or you're slowly catching up after watching the latest series on BBC America, Gallifrey One will be worth your while. L.A.'s long-running Dr. Who convention has a knack for pulling together guests from every aspect of the beloved British science fiction franchise. Guests this year include Paul McGann, who played the eighth Doctor, as well as the creative folks behind other Dr. Who incarnations and spin-offs Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Meta-nerds take note, they're even bringing in Travis Richey from Community's parody Inspector Spacetime. But there's more than autograph sessions and interview panels here. Trade costume tips with fellow fans or show off your spot-on Weeping Angels costumes at Saturday night's masquerade. Brush up on your trivia and be prepared to stay up late.
