L.A. summertime party institution The Do-Over has just announced the kick-off of its limited edition deluxe vinyl series, the first installation of which will feature Flying Lotus alongside Detroit beat-maker House Shoes.

If you're not familiar with The Do-Over, you've got some time to prepare before another set of sangria-soaked Sundays commences (typically in May). Founded by soul man Aloe Blacc, along with Jamie Strong and Chris Haycock, the five-years-running event hosted by Crane's Hollywood Tavern features a consistently fresh set of guest DJs, not to mention afternoon barbecue and carafes of fruit-infused wine.

The inaugural vinyl release from The Do-Over is available for order now and features two songs (one from each artist), a specially designed jacket, a sticker sheet (design your own sleeve), and 10 inches of clear vinyl. Only 1000 are being pressed, which explains the slightly steep price tag, but collector's will surely rejoice over the detail photos below. For all others, MP3s are available, as is this YouTube stream (after the jump) of Flying Lotus' clearly Do-Over-inspired contribution to the release.
