The CYRCLE. art collective is all about creating architecturally responsive, graphically sophisticated, and stylistically versatile street art — as well as finely crafted gallery-ready images and editions — by leveraging their various strengths and skills in whatever original combination of font and image, message and medium the moment calls for, in true collaboration with each other and the city. “Chaos and order are the greatest opposing forces in our lives. Without order nothing can exist, and without chaos nothing can evolve!” This struggle for balance is what creates their blend of style and concept, and is the volatile life-force that inspired “CYRCLE.: ORGANIZED CHAOS!” An immersive, interactive, concept-album of an art show, the installation of objects, images, and experiences is so big it has producers instead of curators. For the exhibition, Fatima Robinson and Rhea Scott, in association with Black Dog Films, and in collaboration with architect/designer Hunter Leggitt, have engineered an experience riffing off the cross-pollination of bee and flower. In this model, viewers are the bees, participating directly in an all-encompassing art and architecture experience that rejects all that stuffy nonsense about looking but not touching, and inviting them into the creative act itself, come what may.
