According to conservative estimates, attendance at this weekend's CatCon L.A., held at the Pasadena Convention Center, topped 30,000 humans and 162 cats (not to mention the odd human-cat hybrid, like original Catwoman Julie Newmar). Squees filled the catnip-rich air, and booths on the convention floor sold everything from cat art to neon litter. All eyes were on feline celebs like Oskar the Blind Cat, Lil Bub and Moshow the Cat Rapper, who took their rightful places atop proverbial pedestals where they could bask in the gaze of their adoring fans. Here are 37 of the most purrfect moments from CatCon, where it is always the Year of the Cat.
