The cleaning service industry is booming, and there are many reasons why. For one, businesses realize the importance of keeping their facilities clean and tidy. Secondly, the industry is becoming more competitive, driving prices and forcing companies to improve their services.
Finally, economic activity is returning to normal, and people are starting to spend money again on things like home renovations and office upgrades. Whatever the reason may be, it’s clear that the well-developed cleaning service industry is here to stay. Amy Mikhaiel, entrepreneur and owner of a cleaning enterprise called Amy’s Angels, has been in the business for over ten years.
In that time, she has seen the industry grow and change firsthand. “When I started, there were very few options for businesses when it came to choosing a cleaning service,” she says. Amy says, “nowadays, there are so many companies to choose from, and the competition is driving down prices. This is good news for businesses because they can get the same level of service for less money.”
Customers in Southern California can obtain cleaning services from Mikhaiel’s company, whether they are looking for commercial, residential, or post-construction cleaning. Since its founding in 2011, Amy’s Angels has been honored to attend to the needs of more than 15,000 customers while operating as a locally owned business through the years.
Changing the paradigm
Developing her business despite all the circumstances surrounding her life, Amy Mikhaiel has set a prime example of what it means to be a female entrepreneur. She says, “if anyone is thinking of starting a cleaning business or looking to grow, the same advice applies – just go for it!”
With the current market climate and the overwhelming desire of businesses to outsource services to cut down costs, the market is there for businesses like this. The only thing missing from the equation is passion. At Amy’s Angels, everyone is passionate about cleaning and providing excellent customer service, Mikhaiel points out.
The industry is set to grow
In fact, according to industry experts, the cleaning service industry is booming and is set to continue growing in the coming years. “One of the biggest reasons is that it’s a relatively low-cost business to start,” she explains. “You don’t need a lot of expensive equipment or materials to get started, and you can easily find customers willing to pay for your services.”
Mikhaiel also points to the growing trend of “conscious capitalism” as another reason the cleaning service industry is booming. “More and more people are becoming aware of the importance of supporting environmentally and socially responsible businesses,” she says.
“I think the biggest change I’ve seen in the industry is the move towards green cleaning,” Amy says. “Customers are becoming more environmentally conscious and demanding that businesses use eco-friendly products and practices. We’ve always done this at Amy’s Angels, and I think it’s one of the things that sets us apart from the competition.”
