On Wednesday, Cannabis Cabaret (produced by Little Face, aka Katelyn Partlow) celebrated 4/20 with a Blind Tiger event, described as “a speakeasy art club featuring figure drawing, performance and free cannabis tasting.” The happening took place at a secret downtown underground art space called Honey Trap, owned and operated by Xe Davis. Los Angeles' “Hardest-Working Woman in Burlesque,” the divine Miss Marquez, morphed into CannaMiss Marquez, a superheroine of the art of the tease, with a marijuana-inspired costume of her own design. Cannabis Cabaret also featured diva (and activist) Famous Sparkle and a comedy set by Megan Sadd. Merch tables included the beautiful “ceramic connectors” by Miwak Junior and appetizing edibles by The Art of Edibles. All photos by Gustavo Turner (Instagram: @gustavoturner).
