This news is not going to knock anyone off their seat.

But, yeah, L.A. County is home to the best warm weather places in the nation. At least that's the conclusion of personal finance site WalletHub, which this week named Glendale, Pasadena and Burbank as “cities with the best … year-round weather” in America.

Those three tied for first place alongside Arden, Arcade, Citrus Heights, Roseville, and Davis — all California cities:

The city of L.A. proper came in 6th place.

WalletHub looked at America's 600 largest cities and ranked them based on temperature, precipitation, “sky conditions,” poor weather and extreme weather.

Glendale topped the list of cities with the best individual seasons, too. L.A. came in 8th place.

L.A. weather is also good for more than just sun on your skin, too. According to WalletHub:

Los Angeles and New Orleans are some of the least windy, each with a zero percent chance of having a day with an average wind of more than 10 mph.

Oh, and to all those East Coast folks who believe that California is just one giant natural disaster, consider this, according to the site:

In the United States, routine weather events such as rain and colder-than-average temperatures can cost the economy as much as $485 billion annually. An inch of snow in Washington, DC, for instance, will force the federal government to shut down all nonessential operations. And those effects are just from small weather changes.

So there you have it: L.A. is just a better place to live, and we save America money.
