The best concert I ever attended was Desert Trip in 2016. Scott (Stone, bassist) and myself saved up some money and got in the pit for the three day festival and saw six legendary artists. Friday was Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, Saturday was Neil Young and Paul McCartney, and Sunday was The Who and Roger Waters/Pink Floyd. It was pretty surreal, seeing all of our biggest idols and influences over the course of one weekend, especially opening for one another. I’ve seen some of these artists before this weekend, but all of them seemed to step up their game and put on their best shows since they were in such solid company.  

The Jacks plays with Creature Canyon and Fox Wilde at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at the Troubadour.
