The best gig I ever went to was Fairport Convention at Union Chapel in London. Even though Sandy Denny wasn’t there to sing her beautiful parts, it was still an incredible show. Hearing folk music live always warms my heart!
I could tell we were all mutually stunned in the audience and the energy in the room was tranquil. I felt melancholic the entire show and was very grateful that my friend had taken me.
Pixx plays with Rosie Tucker and Skin Mag at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 at the Moroccan Lounge.
