It's here! Pride weekend is always a big celebration, and this year there's plenty to celebrate. After all, gay marriage was not legal in California during last year's Pride, and now it is!

Here are a few of our favorite gay/mixed haps both in and outside WeHo for the weekend.

THUNDERGROUND: L.A. PRIDE FESTIVAL?
Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards,? West Hollywood, Saturday, June 7, noon-1 a.m.; Sunday, June 8, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

The parade is always fun in the sun, but the real rollicking good times take place at the Pride Festival, where the colorfully garbed rage – gay and straight alike. Check the L.A. Pride website for performers and vendors at the fest, but definitely plan to roll into Thunderground, the V.I.P roller-disco party from the boys behind Summertramp, happening right on fest grounds! BOY- EASTSIDE PRIDE PARTY

“Eastside” is a state of mind (just like “Gay Pride”), so forget about semantics and labels and partiers of  “all genders, orientations, identities, and body types” for a night fun and unification on the dance floor!  DJs Guano & DJ paul V. spinning the best in Darkwave, electro, hi-nrg and more! Downtown's hippest new hotel has its own two-day shindig to be proud about. JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN) will headline this one, hosted by Wu Tsang and Boychild, plus L.A. faves Victor Rodriguez, W. Jeremy and Kim Anh on Saturday. Sunday's daytime soiree has DJs JD, Amber Valentine and W. Jeremy starting at 1 p.m. (More information here.)

The Official LogoTV Pride Party features proud queens from RuPaul's Drag Race, and once you enter, Shantay, you will want to stay. Hosted by Michelle Visage, the bash will shoe with appearances by drag superstars Raja, Sharon Needles and Jinkx Monsoon (see top photo), plus fan favorites Alyssa Edwars, BendelaCreme, Ivy Winters, Joslyn Fox, Laganja Estranja, Latrice Royale, Shangela, Yara Sofia and more. This month, NYC legend Murray Hill, burlesque princess Audrey Deluxe, Silver Lake icon/magician extraordinaire Christopher Wonder and some special surprises (see photo above for hints) are promised this month's show at Akbar, our favorite gay bar in all of L.A.
