White Sea
BOOTLEG THEATER
White Sea is the solo project of Morgan Kibby; you know her as the singer-keyboardist of French indie-electronic behemoth M83. Or maybe you have heard one of her insanely popular remixes of artists like Lord Huron, The Naked and Famous or Lorde. Or maybe (if you're super underground) you heard her in The Romanovs back in the early 2000s. Either way, Nov. 4 is the final night of the synth-pop singer-songwriter's free residency at the Bootleg, a real treat considering Kibby's accolades as an artist whom Los Angeles magazine proclaims is “L.A.'s renaissance woman of pop.”

Mild High Club
AMOEBA MUSIC
You may not have heard of Mild High Club yet (most of his tracks on Spotify are still in the range of less than 20,000 listens), but trust us, you will be hearing this name everywhere soon. A newcomer to the local legendary label Stones Throw, Alexander Brettin (as Mild High Club) makes dreamy, drowsy and dazed tracks that fall somewhere between Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Ariel Pink (with whom Brettin has performed and recorded while working on his solo debut, Timeline, which came out this September). Catch him at Amoeba at 7 p.m.

So Many Wizards
TAIX FRENCH RESTAURANT
 A favorite act of L.A.'s favorite resident college radio station, 88.9 KXLU, So Many Wizards perform their dreamy indie-pop at Echo Park bar (slash pretty damn good restaurant) Taix, though it's a mystery whether or not the group will lug along their iconic backdrop of stacked televisions. Considering the last full-length release we got from the group was 2012's Warm Nothing, we're hoping they'll be testing out some new tracks.

THE LOST ROOM
Self-described “gyp-hop” singer-songwriter Vanessa Long (aka Cillie Barnes) makes light-hearted, feel-good music that walks the line between shimmery acoustic indie and cinematic pop with one of the most intriguing and soulful voices to come out of L.A. in recent memory.

Red Bull Sound Select 30 Days in L.A. Presents Club Vinyl with Andra Day
AMOEBA RECORDS
Join retro-soul powerhouse Andra Day at Red Bull Sound Select's Club Vinyl, where she'll perform in-store at 6 p.m., following an afternoon filled with live vinyl pressings of Sound Select artist collaborations, and a half-off sale of records by artists headlining the 30 Days in L.A. series (Grimes, Sylvan Esso, Toro y Moi, TV on the Radio, Vince Staples, No Age and so, so much more).

One of our favorite local bands to emerge out of the DIY scene in the last year (though you may have caught the quartet previously as Raw Geronimo), Feels are a full female force of badass riffs and psychedelic intensity. You won't be able to find their music online anywhere, so you'll just have to trust us when we say you. Must. See. Them. Live. Do it, and you can say you knew them when.

25th Annual Mariachi Festival
MARIACHI PLAZA STATION
Join in the quarter-centennial celebration of one of Los Angeles' most vibrant musical cultures: mariachi. The festival and community fair takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with performances by some of the most acclaimed mariachi groups in the nation — Sol de México, Reyna de Los Angeles (America's first all-female Mariachi ensemble), ranchero/pop/country crossover group Trio Ellas (pictured above), and many more.
