Long Beach Comic Con, held Sept. 8-9 at the Long Beach Convention Center, has a show floor that feels as packed as Wondercon, and a couple of panels in tiny rooms below that floor. Most people come for the cosplay and shopping. With literally hundreds of independent artists represented, Long Beach Comic Con is like a tiny Designer Con just for comic book fans. With a small car show below the main floor, thousands of cosplayers and hundreds of artists, Long Beach Comic Con is like a welcome home party for comic enthusiasts from all over Los Angeles.
