Intended to be the first in a series of parties, the inaugural Sept. 23 event known as Mixed Brains paired heavy house and techno in a creatively renovated warehouse studio. The compound is equipped with a rooftop skate ramp, with swings and slides throughout the building, making it a perfect place to dance and play all night long. DJs DarcSounds, Durante, Lubelski and PILO — and the debut set of Dirtybird’s Sébastien V — kept the dance floor bumping. The laser lights helped, too. All photos by Miles Najera (IG: @that_miles)
