As part of the commemoration of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, Richard Hovannisian, a UCLA professor, and David L. Phillips, director of the Peace-building and Rights Program at Columbia University, take an in-depth look at the Turkish government's century-long refusal to acknowledge the genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. Moderated by KPFK host Ian Masters, the discussion will also cover “efforts to foster dialogue and reconciliation” between the two countries.
