Bill BakhoOscar week has started and the gifting suites are back. As one of the premier Pre-Oscar Luxury Gifting Lounges, GBK Brand Bar CEO Gavin Keilly was prepared and ready to open its doors to the very exclusive by-appointment-only A-list celebrity crowd. This year, all precautions were taken into consideration to assure everyone was safe due to Covid-19. When pulling up to the beautiful Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood, we were greeted by the GBK staff and ushered to take a rapid Covid-19 test administered by Reset IV before we entered the lounge and we noticed everything was being sprayed with eOn sanitizing mist between each guest.

The energy was so upbeat and fun as DJ Aaron Colbert was spinning on the rooftop as you entered the first part of gifting lounge while the guys from The Gastro Garage were feeding and entertaining celebrity guests like Anthony Anderson with their blowtorch. After entering the lounge, GBK did not disappoint, they made sure the talent received some great gifts and amazing trips.
Health and beauty products were a big hit at the lounge. Companies like Merci Life Co Collagen Beauty Elixir, Delight Café CBD on the go, Kalio Pain Relief Patches, Source Naturals Supplements, Soul Tox Water, Core Bars, Elite Med Spa and Dr. Amin Javid from Beverly Hills Spine wanted to make sure all the guests stayed healthy inside and out with their products.
The lucky guests received some incredible trips for a 3-night stay from Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic and Kahari Resorts located in the Exumas, Bahamas in association with Swanky Retreats. These trips are coming at the best possible time to destress and relax so pack your bags, grab bathing suits from Cabo Couture and your BB sunscreen and head to the airport.

As we continued through the gifting lounge, we entered another room approached a wall filled with scented CALM Aromatic Diffusers, the scents were all so beautiful and it seemed to make everyone happier and calmer so I guess they do work. South African artist Johnathan Schultz was creating 3D custom art pieces for each guest by taking an imprint of their hands. This was such a fun interactive experience that everyone was enjoying.
Along with the incredible gift swag the guests were receiving, there was a charitable side to this gifting lounge. GBK associates itself with some amazing charities and foundations such as Holly.Gold, World Central Kitchen, and Project Ark that were in the gifting suite to educate everyone on what they are doing to make the world a better place.
The celebrity gifting suites are back, maybe a little different than pre-Covid but always a fun experience. Tune in to the Oscars this Sunday on ABC. Cheers and good luck to all the nominees.
