Tracy Morgan has certainly come a long way since his early days second-banana'ing Martin Lawrence as Hustle Man. The former SNL player and current cast member of critical and ratings darling 30 Rock (for which he was nominated for his first Emmy last year) has gradually leapfrogged his way into the A-list, where foiling the likes of Alec Baldwin and Bruce Willis is now his forte. Morgan is at his best as the brash big mouth in an ensemble — commanding the spotlight, as when he takes the mike to do stand-up, is an iffier prospect. Some love his raunchy, decidedly un-PC stage act, while others … well, don't. (He made headlines last November when audience members reportedly walked out of his Carnegie Hall gig in droves.) As long as you can separate Tracy Jordan from Tracy Morgan, you might be okay, but head down to Long Beach this weekend if your curiosity is piqued.
