There seems to be no end in sight to the generations of children that will be enriched and entertained by the creations of the Jim Henson Company, and it's a fine thing, too. Helping to celebrate and continue the Henson legacy for children of all ages, the American Cinematheque will host The Jim Henson Company's Family Day at the Egyptian in Hollywood, and will include a full day of screenings and educational events designed for parents and kids to enjoy together. Screenings include episodes of popular Henson shows Sid the Science Kid and Dinosaur Train; The Possibility Shop demonstration of creative afternoon family activities; plus as a nostalgia trip for moms and dads, “A Better World: Living In Harmony,” which features an episode of '80s classic Fraggle Rock. In the Egyptian courtyard you'll find interactive activity stations and photo opportunities with various Henson characters, available all day.
