Hinkley Traffic Collision Involving a Semi-Truck Leaves One Fatality

HINKLEY, CA (August 9, 2021) Authorities identified 32-year-old Terry English as the victim of a fatal collision last Wednesday in Hinkley.

Officers responded to the fatal incident around 4:09 A.M. at the intersection of Lenwood road and Community Boulevard.

Upon arrival, they discovered a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier and a 2016 Freightliner hauling a box at the scene.

Eventually, investigators determined that English failed to stop at the intersection while traveling westbound.

As a result, the Cavalier drove directly into the path of a southbound Freightliner, driven by a 25-year-old male.

Tragically, 32-year-old Terry English died at the scene due to the severity of the collision. However, the driver of the semi-truck remains unharmed.

Friends and family of Terry are organizing a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.

No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Terry English.
