Deadly DUI Accident near Imperial Highway in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA (August, 3, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon on July 21, 54-year-old Terence Wingo, died in a collision on 91 Freeway.

The fatal crash happened around 3:45 p.m., on the westbound lanes of the freeway, just south of the Imperial Highway overpass.

According to CHP, Alexander Neuson was speeding westbound in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado in the Fastrak lane when he veered to the left and crashed into a concrete center median.

Due to the impact, he veered right and clipped the back of a 1999 Ford Mustang, driven by Wingo. The Mustang was then was pushed into the back of a 2021 Tesla.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated Wingo from the wreckage. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Alexander Neuson, 36, was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while drunk. He was also charged with driving under a controlled substance that resulted in harm, as well as a sentence enhancement accusation of inflicting bodily injury.

Moreover, the Tesla driver remained unharmed, according to the CHP. At this time, the crash is still under going scrutiny.
