Most people who think they have nothing to say usually change their tune when someone sticks a microphone in front of their face. Then you can't get them to shut up. In a tribute to both misplaced modesty and the tenor of the times, Deyermond Gallery's Recorded History makes a microphone available to all who have something to say, be it a song, a poem, a story or just utter momentary nonsense — or, as it is known in the world of poetry, a horseshit of a different color. It'll all be recorded and placed in the Deyermond Archives, which continues its reign as one of the most interesting galleries operating in the Westside today. With scores of time capsules buried across Los Angeles over the past century, here's one you can actually inject yourself into and know where it's buried —; it's in among all those $300 art books and that collection of Screw Magazine essays you've been ogling for months.
