13-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized in Traffic Crash on 99th Avenue near Deer Valley Road

PEORIA, AZ (March 30, 2023)Thursday morning, a pedestrian crash on 99th Avenue left one teenager with serious injuries, police said. The deadly accident happened on March 9th at around 7:00 a.m., when a 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle. Investigation showed that the boy is an 8th grader student at Sunset Heights Elementary. Furthermore, authorities transported the injured boy to a nearby hospital. Consequently, the officers stated that the driver involved showed no signs of being impaired.
