It's been a sad week of school-related violence in L.A. On Tuesday two students were wounded when a gun went off accidentally at Gardena High School. On Wednesday an L.A. school police officer was shot by a suspect near El Camino High.

And now word comes over the wire at a 16-year-old was shot at a burger stand in Bell not far from Bell High School.

That attack was reported at 3:30 p.m. at Boulevards Burgers, 4401 Florence Ave., according to an L.A. County fire official

KTLA News reports the boy, struck in his stomach and side, was taken to the trauma unit at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood in unknown condition.
