17-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Crash on Road 16
MADERA COUNTY, CA (October 11, 2022) – Early Wednesday night, a teen boy was killed in a motorcycle collision on Avenue 20.
Dispatchers responded to the scene around 6:18 p.m., near Road 16 on October 5th.
According to police, the 17-year-old motorcyclist failed to yield at the intersection and collided with the truck. The motorcyclist was then ejected from his vehicle onto the road.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Investigators say he was wearing a helmet at the time.
Following preliminary duties, responding officers ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash. At this time, the events leading up to the motorcycle collision on Avenue 20 have not yet been determined.
