Teenager Dead after Auto Accident on Carmel Canyon Road
CARMEL VALLEY, CA (June 10, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a 17-year-old victim was killed in a fiery car accident on Del Mar Heights Road.
The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m., near Carmel Canyon Road and Del Mar Heights Road on May 24th.
According to reports, the 17-year-old driver struck a curb and crashed into a tree. Consequently, his car burst into flames.
Eventually, firefighters and officers rushed to the scene. Due to the impact of the crash, the teen victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
