A teenager working at the Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park was kidnapped, sexually assaulted and essentially robbed after work on the 4th of July, police announced today.

The 19-year-old woman was standing near her car in a parking lot at the mall about 5:30 p.m. that day when a man abducted her at knife point, according to the LAPD:

The suspect ordered the victim to drive him to “multiple locations” in the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena and downtown during the three-hour crime spree, cops said.

He attacked her, took her stuff, and nabbed her ATM card and number, using it at a bank to get cash, police said.

The department tells the Weekly it will unveil a photo of the suspect derived from security video shortly. In the meantime, this is how the guy was described by the department:

The suspect was described as an early twenty-year-old male, African American he stands around 5 feet and 6 inches to 5 feet and 8 inches tall, and weighs around 140 to 160 pounds and is of a fit build.
