Pedestrian Crash on Topaz Road involving a Teen and a Pickup Truck

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 20, 2021) – On Wednesday, authorities reported one injury after a pick-up truck struck a teen crossing Topaz Road in Victorville.

The incident happened around 7:16 A.M. near Cobalt Institute of Math and Science (CIMS) on Topaz Road Arvila Drive.

Furthermore, investigators stated that the 16-year-old boy ran into the roadway leaving the school area.

Meanwhile, a Ford pick-up truck driver going 15 mph didn’t manage to stop in time and struck the young male.

Later on, the authorities confirmed that the boy did not sustain any serious injuries from the crash.

The involved pick-up driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators about the pedestrian incident.
