17-Year-Old Boy Struck and Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Accident near Tebo Court

SAN DIEGO, CA (August 8, 2022) – Monday morning, a 17-year-old boy sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Picador Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 8:01 a.m., at the 800 block of Picador Boulevard on July 25th.

According to reports, the driver of a 2012 Hyundai Elantra struck the teen boy as he crossed the street from west to east.

Medical personnel arrived and located the boy with serious injuries, including a fractured left femur and a 6-inch laceration to the left hip. As a result, medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Police did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and the factors involved remain under investigation.

The California Highway Patrol asks anyone who witnessed the pedestrian crash on Picador Boulevard to contact their offices.
