14-Year-Old Boy Injured in Bicycle Collision on Date Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 30, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a bicycle accident on Granada Avenue left a teen injured.
The collision happened around 3:34 p.m., at the intersection of Granada Avenue and Date Street.
According to reports, a bicyclist did not stop at a posted stop sign while heading south on Granada Avenue. As a result, the rider collided with a 2019 Subaru Ascent going east on Date Street.
Paramedics arrived and transported the 14-year-old boy to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old Subaru driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
