An L.A.-area man perved on two teenage girls in a Knott's Berry Farm water attraction — in full view of the world. And he's looking at the possibility of more than three years behind bars.

Thirty-two-year-old Albert Omar Martinez of Downey was convicted this week of lewd acts and attempted lewd acts for rubbing up on two teen girls in Tidal Wave Bay at Knott's in 2009.

One of the victims was only 15. The Orange County Register:

… Parents of the two girls pulled their daughters from the Tidal Wave pool after they became concerned about Martinez's activities in the water close to the girls. One of the victims, a 15-year-old girl, said Martinez rubbed up against her as the waves pushed them back and forth. Security guards at the attraction then detained Martinez for Buena Park police.

Yeah. Memo to Martinez:

Knott's isn't a nightclub on Revolucion in Tijuana. And even there his ass might have gotten in trouble, especially for perving on an underage girl.

While his lawyer said the bumping was caused by churning waters (Oops, my boner keeps repeatedly but accidentally bumping into you?), a detective said it was a case of “frottage” — rubbing on strangers for sexual arousal.

In any case, the genius faces sentencing in June. Good luck.
