13-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident on Citron Street

CORONA, CA (January 27, 2022) – Late Thursday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy was fatally struck in a bicycle collision on South Lincoln Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m., near the intersection of Citron Street and South Lincoln Avenue.

Upon arrival, authorities located the severely injured teen lying in the road with serious injuries. It appears that a vehicle struck the boy while he was riding a bicycle in the area. However, further events leading up to the crash remain unclear.

Due to the extent of his condition, emergency crews later pronounced the teen bicyclist dead at the hospital. Although, his identity was not made public.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene for further investigation. Authorities believed that alcohol intoxication or drugs were not factors in the crash. However, the investigation is proceeding.
