13-Year-Old Injured in Bicycle Collision near Wisconsin Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (April 1, 2022) – Friday morning, a 13-year-old bicyclist was injured in a bus crash on Northgate Boulevard.

According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:50 a.m., near the intersection of Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue.

For reasons still under active investigation, the driver of a Twin Rivers Unified School District Bus struck a teen bicyclist in the area. Officials confirmed that paramedics took the teen to an area hospital with minor injuries, and he is now in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the other children inside the school bus were uninjured. At this time, Sacramento Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
