60-Year-Old Victim Killed in Big-Rig Crash near Pioneer Boulevard

CERRITOS, CA (March 15, 2022) – Tuesday evening, Teddy Faile was pronounced dead after a semi-truck collision on 91 Freeway.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly before 11:42 p.m., on March 8. Emergency crews responded to the scene just east of Pioneer Boulevard.

Upon arrival, police located a semi-truck and another vehicle. However, the circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Medical personnel pronounced 60-year-old Faile dead, due to blunt force trauma injuries. It is still unknown which vehicle Faile occupied.

For several hours, authorities closed all lanes of the freeway for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
