After we were inspired by the How to Rawk SXSW panel, Web Editor Erin Broadley and I decided to get our blog on at the TechSet blogger lounge – after winding our way to the  “Being John Malkovitch”-esque semi third floor we found our way to the Tech Set + Windows Mobile @wmdev Blog Lounge Tweetup hosted by Brian Solis, Stephanie Agresta, and Loke-Uei Tan.  We thought we were going to settle down and work but the open bar proved us wrong, despite the fact that Solis insisted he had already blogged four times that day.

After eating a hot pretzel to settle our stomachs from our Lone Star whammy breakfast, Erin and I got into a groove. The L.A. scene was representing in full-force because no one Tweetups like we do, and the entrancing Nicole Jordan, Laurie Percival, Natasha Westcoat and Jackie Peters were there representing the fact that L.A. is hot – especially in Texas. Sean Percival, editor of Lalawag put it best when he Tweeted: “SXSW is awesome, like Twitter come to life.” So hot in fact that nine select members of the L.A. crew got their own business cards to scatter and disperse at their leisure.
