— dangeroo kipawaa TDE (@dangerookipawaa) February 16News of Jay Rock's accident broke early yesterday evening, while the Grammys were in progress. Tiffith tweeted that the rapper suffered “a lot of broken bones” but denied rumors that he was ever “near death.”
Rock, a 30-year-old Watts native, signed to TDE in 2005. He also was briefly signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music, but his most recent release, 2015's 90059, came out exclusively via TDE. He is perhaps best-known for his guest verse on Lamar's “Money Trees,” off Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City.
