tbh, the company reinventing Nutella, with a better-for-you and better-for-the-planet hazelnut cocoa spread, announced a realignment of their executive team with investor and co-founder Ba Minuzzi joining current CEO Elena Guberman as co-CEO, and Ms. Guberman becoming a co-founder. These changes mark the start of a strategic growth trajectory for the brand.
One of the mantras of Ba is “if you have influence, and a massive platform, why not leverage that to educate your followers on things that matter? – and that’s exactly where Noah Schnapp excels” says Ba Minuzzi. As a result of such great influence, in the last year tbh has built an online presence with over 160k followers on IG and over 190k on TikTok, with over 20 MILLION views. “Noah’s commitment to the brand and our long term vision is helping increase our awareness, and grow our community” says Elena Guberman.
“Ba is an incredible investor and leader, with skills complementary to my own,” says Elena Guberman, co-founder and co-CEO of tbh. “I’ve built my career scaling food and beverage brands, with a network in CPG and knowledge of operations best practices and supply chain. Ba worked directly with Noah since the inception of this brand, with knowledge of celebrity relations and marketing that will play a key role for our brand in the years to come. Being a solo founder is a hard road, and I’m beyond excited to work side-by-side with Ba in a greater capacity as we continue this journey to reimagine nostalgic snacking and deliver our products to consumers worldwide,”
Ba is a well-known venture capitalist who leverages her platform to guide a new generation of celebrities on “being loud and responsible”, as she likes to say when guiding celebrities to build purpose-driven and conscious brands. Within only 5 years since becoming a venture capitalist, Ba has invested in more than 100 startups, including a now publicly traded company, 4 unicorns, and numerous companies in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, becoming a multi-millionaire herself. To start co-building startups felt like a natural path to Ba, as tbh was the first startup Ba launched as a behind the scenes co-founder with Noah Schnapp, the Gen Z actor, influencer and now entrepreneur.
“I’m honored to join the C-Level team of tbh on the company’s 1-year anniversary and it’s been a humbling experience to work alongside Elena,” said Ba Minuzzi, co-CEO of tbh. “Elena is a remarkable leader who has taken our delicious brand into over 500 doors in under 1 year, in addition to securing partnerships with fast delivery platforms, like Gopuff and Getir, and exceeding our expectations from DTC. It’s an incredible responsibility to help co-lead a brand on a mission with an honest commitment to do better. It takes a team to drive a company forward
and we’re excited for what’s next.”
About tbh tbh is an honest hazelnut cocoa spread brand on a mission to reimagine nostalgic snacking in a way that is more delicious, better for you and better for our planet. Celebrity actor and influencer Noah Schnapp launched tbh alongside UVS (Umana Venture Studio) to replace his favorite chocolatey spread from childhood with something he could feel better about. tbh brings the fun with rich chocolate flavor, hazelnuts as the first ingredient, three times the protein of the other guys and no palm oil, ever.
Your toast deserves better; it’s time to spread the good stuff.
