It's Tax Day, one of a few days this Election Year that you'll likely be remotely interested in tearing apart the finer parts of the so-called Buffett Tax and seeing how it would have directly affected you, or not. At least, that interest will hold for a few seconds, until you've stared at your sadly adjusted gross income long enough and decide to either drown your sorrows or pre-spend your refund at one of the many eateries with Tax Day-related deals. Eater has a great round-up of the discounts offered by national chains (free curly fries at Arby's! 15% off your bill at P.F. Chang's!); to that list we add a few more local specials. For those still managing Schedules A, B and C, you may as well forget about turning in your homework on time and instead request an extension so you, too, can go out and play.

Susan Feniger's Street. Susan Feniger's ode to street food will offer its Street Burger and Spicy Black Bean Veggie Burger for just $4.17.

The Hungry Cat. The seafood restaurant invites you to “celebrate or lick your wounds” with its all-day Happy Hour, which includes half off its selection of great cocktails and draft beers.

Upper West. Starting at 5 p.m., the Santa Monica restaurant will host an all-night happy hour.

Go Burger and BLT Steak. Both restaurants are under the same corporate umbrella and thus share the same Tax Day deal: Half-off all alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer and wine.

The Palm: Print out this coupon on The Palm's website, head to the restaurant's bar and receive a free “Prime Bite” with the purchase of any beverage.

Ford's Filling Station: Chef Ben Ford's restaurant gives you the night off and celebrates on Wednesday with its Tax Relief Day Block Party. From 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be happy hour specials on the food, plus $4 to $6 drink deals.
