Statistics show that women account for only about one in five arrestees and even smaller percentages of those who commit violent crimes and felonies. But, well, there's always that one exception.
The LAPD seems to have found her. And she has tattoos:

The department today said it's on the lookout for a tattooed woman in her twenties who was spotted prowling at two Mission Hills homes on Sunday.
The scenes of the crimes included a residence in the 15400 block of San Jose Street and one in the 14500 block of Peach Avenue, cops said.
One resident caught her creeping around, police said. She told the person she was looking for a friend, Leslie, who lived at the place, they said. Leslie does not live at the place.

Detectives fear the woman is “looking for valuables to steal,” possibly to support a drug habit, the LAPD said in a statement.
Lt. Paul Vernon:
She's pretty bold, walking into open garages during the day. If she's unchallenged, she goes into the home and takes the first thing she sees.
The woman is described as a 5 feet, 4 inch Latina with a medium to heavy build. The LAPD states that her ink includes “a distinct tattoo of stars and a crescent moon next to her left eye.”
She might have been seen fleeing one neighborhood in a black Ford Explorer. Cops think she might live in the area.
Vernon warns residents to keep garage doors closed, windows locked, and valuables out of view.
