32-Year-Old Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash near Highway 180

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (January 26, 2022)Tanya Ramirez died Friday night after a head-on collision on Whitesbridge Avenue near Highway 180.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 8:00 p.m., on Whitesbridge Avenue near Highway 180.

Per reports, the driver of a white car crossed the center median for reasons still unknown, hitting a blue sedan. The sedan was occupied by 32-year-old Ramirez, of Fresno.

Shortly after, another vehicle collided with the two cars, causing its driver minor injuries.

First responders arrived and declared Ramirez dead at the scene, due to the extent of her injuries.

Meanwhile, paramedics reported that the remaining victims involved suffered minor injuries and were treated by medical crews on scene.

Both directions of the roadway were shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary investigations.
