Years of heat styling, bleaching and coloring can severely impact the integrity of your hair leading to fine, brittle strands or even worse – hair loss. But it doesn’t have to be that way anymore thanks to an industry leading and preventive solution: OMORFIE.

With 20 years of experience in all aspects of the hair industry (and after her own traumatic hair experience), salon stylist turned beauty entrepreneur, Morgan Prescott created OMORFIE – a magical hair care line that’s transformed into a self-care movement, helping women all over the world regain confidence in their tresses.

“I wanted to create a solution that restores hair health and heals hair trauma,” Prescott tells us, adding that this was more than just a business venture for her, but also a personal mission. In 2018, she went through what she refers to as an “awful hair journey.”

Prior to starting her brand, Prescott went to a salon she trusted for a color treatment, but the outcome was far from what she initially imagined.

“My hair was gone, completely broken,” she shares. “It had severely snapped around the sides of my face, and chunks of hair were missing throughout the back. It was horrible. With tears streaming down my face I thought how could this be? I’m an expert with 20 years’ experience in this industry. I know everything there is to know about hair, yet here I am.”

This situation is unfortunately all too common. As a salon stylist, Prescott recalls working with clients who struggled with the same challenges she did. “I thought to myself, how many times did I see people with broken hair? I thought, my goodness, I have to do something about this.”

With a passion for hair that evolved from a very young age, and a fiery determination to succeed, Prescott envisioned a solution that would simplify hair care routines and heal hair trauma. She went back to the basics, reanalyzing her own hair care routine to create an easy to use system that actually nurtures and benefits your hair. And the result? A plant-based hair care system that restores and protects your hair.

“All right, my hair is broken. How can I heal it? How long is it going to take? What routine do I actually need to use? And I’m not just talking about shampoo and conditioner. How am I combing my hair when I get out of the shower? How am I wrapping it in a towel? Does the hair wrap dry my hair in less than 50% time? Is it friction free? Is it going to be safe around my hairline if I have heavy hair?”

She continues; “I threw myself into testing and trialing, seeking out natural ingredients that would repair damage and boost hair health. At the same time, I was working full time as a business consultant to other salons, because I needed to raise my own money to fund the dream that would one day become OMORFIE.”

Prescott actually hit upon the name OMORFIE while living on an island in Greece. “A vision flashed before my eyes whilst sitting on top of a mountain that overlooks Skorpios Island,” she says. “The word Omorfie (omorfi) means beautiful in Greek and that’s what everyone’s hair should be.”

She continues; “Hair needs to be nurtured and supported – it starts from the scalp and making sure the products you are using are not just hiding damage or adding to previous trauma.”

Using sustainable, natural ingredients, OMORFIE was built on the foundation that everyone deserves to have luscious hair without having to invest in an extravagant, or expensive routine.

“I created OMORFIE as hair care regimes can be so overwhelming,” she says. “Consumers are recommended so many ‘must-have’ products that it’s hard to know what is truly necessary for healthy hair.”

The brand’s signature product kit – Let’s Get Lush – was deemed in Page Six magazine as the #1 selling shampoo kit. Since its inception, the kit has seen a 225% increase in sales, with initial stock runs selling out three times since its launch in 2019.

“My goal with OMORFIE was first and foremost – does it work? If you’re a client in my chair, I’m not going to recommend a product that isn’t going to support your hair journey with me,” she continues.

In four short years, the Australian beauty brand has become a top-selling hair care line, backed by Bravo stars of hit series Real Housewives and Million Dollar Listing, and is making waves in Australia and the US.

OMORFIE is loved by a number of high-profile advocates such as hair royalty Eden Sassoon, Tracy Tutor and Jennifer Davis who regularly talk openly and enthusiastically about their hair journey with OMORFIE on their socials
