Tacos El Superior Rapidly Expanding Throughout Southern California

The Company Tacos El Superior is a Southern California based food company that started as a Food Truck in Palmdale, CA in 2019. Since then, the Marroquin Family, has opened up four Drive-Thru Restaurants. These current locations are Azusa, Tehachapi, Lancaster, and Palmdale. This is just the beginning for Tacos El Superior, they have announced plans to open up additional locations this early 2023 in Sylmar and Hawaiian Gardens as well.

Tacos El Superior’s staple pieces and specialization comes down to their roots, Mexican food. Its initial launch started off as an authentic Mexican food truck, aimed to continue to provide the same authentic Mexican experience at their Drive-Thru locations. Serving fresh, quality Mexican dishes, through the use of their Angus Beef & Premium meats. House-made Rice and Beans, Salsas, Aguas Frescas. “We want to deliver the entire experience – not just Tacos.”The Marroquin Family shares with us.

On Tacos El Superior’s Truck’s first night, they had sold less than $100 and they were very open about it – a very humbling trait for the beginning of the Marroquin Family’s journey. The Marroquin Family comes from an immigrant background. They came from Mexico and worked in grape fields here in the Coachella valley. However, from Mexico to Coachella, throughout their process and grind of relocating countries and starting a brand-new life, the Family now consists of UCLA Graduates, successful companies and fast-growing food chains.

Growth and consistency are Tacos El Superior’s main focus when it comes to the success of their business. They are always thinking ahead – continuously considering new Limited Time Aguas and meat options keeping Tacos El Superior’s customers their top priority. Tacos El Superior’s leaders have sat in with us today to share more about what Tacos El Superior is currently working on and what’s to come next.

– Share with us what Tacos El Superior is currently working on? What can customers see next?

The Company’s focus is currently on perfecting consistency across all TES restaurants. Whether it’s Tacos El Superior in LA, Palmdale, or Tehachapi – we want to deliver the same great Mexican experience across all locations. We’re always striving to improve our quality and guests’ experiences. God Willingly, we continue to grow our business.

– What are some of the biggest challenges you face as a company?

A big challenge we are currently facing is fighting inflation – keeping our prices affordable for families despite the rise in prices for our quality ingredients. We fight and do our best to keep our food affordable for all families – never losing the standard, serving quality food, with a blend of quality and value.

– What would you say your company’s biggest accomplishments to this date are?

We are very proud of the process, having dreamt as a young kid and we tried it with a food truck. The Truck was an unbelievable success, so we took it to the Drive-Thru and had great success. Hoping all goes well, we should be at 7 restaurants within the next few months. Our value and guests have stayed with us as we’ve grown and expanded, which is amazing as we take great pride in our people.
