It's time to start planning your summer eating. Yes, already, because even if you've already booked your tickets to Mexico City and convinced your friends to come with you on a road trip Tijuana and Ensenada, you still have someplace to be on Saturday, June 28, when we'll be having our second annual Tacolandia.

Not only is it a lot closer, being in downtown Los Angeles, but it's probably a lot cheaper, too. Tickets for the event, which will have over 40 taco specialists, are only $25. Among the restaurants already confirmed to come to event, which is again curated by the World's First Tacorazzo, Bill Esparza, are the following:
]
Bistro LQ, Carnitas El Momo, Chichen Itza, Colonia Taco Lounge, Coni'Seafood, Don Chente Bar & Grill, Flautas, George's at the Cove, Mariscos Jalisco, SoHo Taco and SOL Cocina. Not only will there be lots of tacos, but there will be tequila, specifically a tequila garden (yes, that's what they're calling it), with tequila from at least 15 different brands of the stuff. Maybe plan your designated driver now, too.

Tacolandia will take place this year on Saturday, June 28, from 3-7 p.m. at El Pueblo de Los Angeles downtown. General admission, which includes entry into the event, entertainment, access to the vendor village and the cash bar as well as tacos from the many vendors, is $25. Premium tickets ($45) include all that plus a VIP gift bag and five drink tickets. You can also buy a $20 tequila garden ticket, which doesn't include event admission but gets you admission to said garden and 10 1/2-oz. tequila shots.

Tickets go on presale on April 22 at 10 a.m. and then on regular sale at 10 a.m. on April 25. To buy presale tickets, sign up for the dining newsletter, from which you'll be emailed the presale code next Tuesday morning. Happy taco-ing.
