Rollover Crash Left on Silver Lake Left 77-year-old Woman Dead

SPOKANE, WA (August 14, 2023) – Monday afternoon, police responded to a crash on Interstate 90 that claimed the life of Suzanne Twete.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., between Interstate 90 and Silver Lake.

According to the WSP, an automobile was westbound on the highway towards Silver Lake when it went off the highway, crashed into the left sidewalk, and was overestimated back to the right.

The vehicle then traversed all lanes and rolled over on the right side. The driver of the vehicle was hurt, while the passenger died at the site.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 77-year-old Twete, dead at the scene.

Police say it is still unknown if drugs and alcohol were a factor in the collision.
