Female Driver Killed in Multi-Car Accident near Peach Avenue

FRESNO, CA (September 12, 2022) – Sunday morning, Suzanne Hood was pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision on McKinley Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 7:00 a.m., near the intersection of Peach and McKinley Avenue.

At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that multiple vehicles were involved and found severely damaged in the area.

Medical personnel arrived and transported one woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment where she later died. Officers eventually identified the deceased victim as Hood.

Suzanne’s husband, Rodger Hood is blind and will require in-home care during this difficult time. The loved ones of Hood set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs.

No further details regarding the McKinley Avenue car crash have been made public. An active investigation is still currently underway.
