An SUV jumped the curb and crashed into a Hollywood Boulevard liquor store, injuring six people near the El Capitan Theatre.

Hollywood and Highland Boulevard were shut down while the scene was being investigated and LAPD said that the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

Fox 11 Los Angeles confirmed that two of those injured from the crash were a reporter and cameraman of theirs who were on scene covering the reopening of the El Capitan.

LAFD said that four of those hurt, including the Fox 11 crew members, were in serious to critical condition and transported to a local trauma center, while one of the hurt pedestrians declined to go to the hospital.

The theater was reopening Friday night with a showing of Raya and the Last Dragon and the Hollywood area began to see more foot traffic as L.A. County business restrictions lifted while in the red tier of California’s Blueprint For a Safer Economy.
