I've always liked those paintings where the eyes function as little windows for some sinister spying person standing behind them. You know, the kind that are standard issue for haunted mansions and evil villains' libraries. In that aesthetic vein, here are two items for your consideration. The first is a free screensaver called “Very Secret” from Veer. It is what's on my home computer at the moment and it is delightful. It cycles through several different “walls” of creepy, moving-eyed paintings.

It is designed by Canadian designer Anders J. Svensson. Download it here.

The second item, or rather items, are these paintings sold by The Curiosity Shoppe. These are not free. If you feel like stimulating the economy, they will set you back anywhere from $80 – $100. You pull a lever and either the eyes and/or mouth move.
